Our AgentsGregg Pickens - Broker, Owner, Lead Auctioneer Gregg is a Payne County native; he grew up in the Coyle area, graduated from Stillwater High and is an Oklahoma State University Alumni. Gregg is a lifetime Farmer/Rancher and grew up working with a family Real Estate and Auction business. Gregg has been auctioneering since the age of nine, working beside his father Ernie and the late Russ Thomas of Oklahoma City. "On the spot" auctioning experiences throughout his childhood, led Gregg to a very successful Real Estate career. Gregg’s success began at Fisher Provence Realtors, where he gained the confidence to open his own office in May of 2004. Prior to this time Pickens Auctions averaged 10-20 auctions per year. Now, since 2006, Pickens Auctions conducts more than100 Auctions annually, selling primarily Real estate, as well as Agriculture and Construction Equipment throughout Oklahoma. Gregg is quick to point out he had a lot of help and support from family and friends. Although Pickens Auctions is considered the "Go To" Auction Company in Oklahoma, it still remains a family business with very strong ties to the communities they serve. Gregg and his staff are strong believers in giving back to the community by raising over one million dollars annually through volunteering their Auction services to Charity and Civic events. Gregg is one of only fifteen Certified Auctioneers Institute Auctioneers in Oklahoma. Gregg has presented at the National Auctioneers Association meeting multiple times, speaking on several topics including Equipment and Real Estate Auctions. Gregg was a Charter Member of Market Alliance and was on the original Board of Directors. He also was the youngest President on both the Payne County Cattle Producers and Payne County Farm Bureau, serving multiple terms for both associations.
